Empowering Owners. Caring for Dogs. Elevating Life Together.
The Elevated Canine Approach
Empowering Handlers. Elevating Dogs.
At Elevated Canine, we believe great dog training is about more than teaching behaviours — it’s about giving people the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to succeed with their dogs in everyday life.
With over 20 years of experience, our approach looks at the whole picture: the dog, the handler, and the relationship between them. We focus on understanding why behaviour happens, meeting dogs where they are, and creating realistic strategies that work at home, on walks, and out in the real world.
From puppies and everyday manners to more challenging behaviours, our programs are built around compassionate training, clear communication, safety, and lasting results.
We’re also proud to support local rescues and foster networks through specialized behavioural care.
Empower the handler. Support the dog. Strengthen the relationship.
The Elevated Canine Difference
Empowering the Handler
Great dog training starts with confident owners. Through personalized 1-on-1 coaching and hands-on guidance, we teach you clear communication techniques and practical handling tools tailored directly to your home, routine, and lifestyle.
Real-World Outdoor Training
Training happens outside in open-air environments where real distractions naturally occur. From outdoor group classes to guided group training walks, we build calm focus, reliable leash manners, and real-world control you can rely on anywhere.
Certified Pet First Aid & Safety
Led by a Certified Pet First Aid Instructor, safety and health awareness are built into everything we do. Whether your dog is attending a class, learning emergency response with you, or staying in our 3-acre country boarding, their wellbeing comes first.
Rescue & Shelter Services
Our mission goes beyond private training. We actively partner with rescue organizations, foster networks, and shelter teams to provide behavioral assessments, foster education, and specialized consultations that help dogs transition successfully into forever homes.
